Meet Keith Cook – Founder of Fencing Fun
Coaching Experience
With over 15 years of experience running Fencing Fun, I’ve had the privilege of personally coaching around 600 children each week in plastic fencing. My mission is to introduce young people to the excitement of fencing while helping them build confidence, discipline, and life skills that go far beyond the sport.
My Fencing Journey
I first picked up a foil at age 11 at the Royal Commonwealth Pool Fencing Club, and from that moment, I was hooked. Fencing has taken me on an incredible journey, both as an athlete and a coach. I am now the National Coach for the British Fencing team and Head coach at Salle Holyrood Fencing Club.
Best Fencing & Coaching Moment
There’s nothing more rewarding than watching children grow—not just as fencers, but as individuals. Seeing their confidence soar on and off the piste, and knowing that the lessons they learn through fencing will help them succeed in life.
